I have been involved as a Director since 2021. Responding to opportunities to provide services to others has led me to volunteer since my 20’s. I am only beginning to become aware of the community impacts and the valuable projects with the ‘Pass on Principle’ we support. Prior to retirement in 2010, I worked in the petrochemical field in Process Operations Management.
In 2000, my wife and I went on a monitoring trip to Belize with a group of volunteers and were impressed with the S.H.A.R.E. philosophy.
I started on the project committee and love that we fund projects that provide clean water.
I was always drawn to S.H.A.R.E. because of our ‘hand up' and not a 'hand-out’ principle.
Jim joins S.H.A.R.E. as a director in October 2022. Jim grew up on a farm in Stouffville Ontario.
