Agriculture Education and Training

In a SHARE project, farmers learn to improve their production from agriculture technicians who are local experts in ecological agriculture techniques and local farming conditions.

Farmers learn ways to protect and improve soils, conserve water, care for livestock, grow new crops or garden produce to improve family diets. They are supported to diversify production and to market their extra produce for a small income.

SHARE’s projects help small scale farmers adapt to the changing weather patterns.

The result is healthier families with enough food all year and increased income.
