My name is Elna. I am from Don Don and I have 4 children. This is the first time I have planted a garden of this style at my home. Around here, the people only grow starches, like sweet potato, cassava root, and plantain. With vegetables, I am able to give my children a balanced diet without having to depend on my husband. There are some days that he doesn’t have any money to leave with me, yet when he returns, there is food on the table because I’ve taken it from the garden. This garden has given me freedom. I have saved seeds and will be planting again. With the garden I will always have something at hand that I can use to help people in need. Bravo! Bravo to you!
