I became involved in January 2020 as the Board’s voluntary secretary. I have spent my career working in agriculture organizations in Ontario. I am currently employed as on operations and project manager. It’s exhilarating to be working with an organization that has positively changed the lives of so many people. I continue to marvel at the generosity and commitment of S.H.A.R.E. donors and volunteers, supporting innovative projects providing a hand up and not a handout. S.H.A.R.E. consists of an incredible team of volunteers, I’m humbled and honored to be involved.
In 2000, my wife and I went on a monitoring trip to Belize with a group of volunteers and were impressed with the S.H.A.R.E. philosophy.
I started on the project committee and love that we fund projects that provide clean water.
I was always drawn to S.H.A.R.E. because of our ‘hand up' and not a 'hand-out’ principle.
Jim joins S.H.A.R.E. as a director in October 2022. Jim grew up on a farm in Stouffville Ontario.
