I’ve been on the S.H.A.R.E. Board since 2002 following a project monitor trip in 2000. I’ve always been very impressed with the many projects that have helped countless individuals improve their quality of life. I’m a former dairy farmer who is employed by Agricorp. I spent a number of years on Co-op Boards and as a OFA director.
In 2000, my wife and I went on a monitoring trip to Belize with a group of volunteers and were impressed with the S.H.A.R.E. philosophy.
I started on the project committee and love that we fund projects that provide clean water.
I was always drawn to S.H.A.R.E. because of our ‘hand up' and not a 'hand-out’ principle.
Responding to opportunities to provide services to others has led me to volunteer since my 20’s.
Jim joins S.H.A.R.E. as a director in October 2022. Jim grew up on a farm in Stouffville Ontario.
